I went to Paul's house, he sat me down in the living room (he had not finished his studio), plugged in my acoustic guitar and a mic, disappeared into a bedroom, shouted, 'play your song', and I did. He came out, called Don, up the road, to bring his percussion gear around. Don added his touches, and Paul laid down the bass. Presto, Nacogdoches, Texas, my first recorded song, was done that quickly. He finished his studio and we never looked back.
As both an acoustic and electric artist, Paul excels. Those who have worked with him as a fellow band member, arranger, session artist, or multi-award wining producer, are in awe of his technique and range. A writer described him as 'one of the great musical talents in Australia today'. Enough said.
